Overview
Welcome to the substance misuse elective module. This module describes the prevalence of alcohol and other drug (AoD) misuse in Victorian communities and the impact this has on individual health and the health service. Whilst many of the assessment and management principles are the same, this module provides specific information on:
- Stimulants
- Depressants
- Psychedelics
- Opioids
- Dissociatives
- Empathogens
- Cannabinoids
- Alcohol.
This module has been designed to take approximately 2 hours to complete. This may vary for individual learners.
