Overview
This elective module discusses a selection of minority communities you may encounter within your UCC and how their health and well-being may be affected. We have selected the community groups we believe are most relevant to nurses working within UCCs across Victoria. The groups included in this module are:
- People living in rural and remote communities
- People with disability
- People of different religions
- LGBTQIA+ people
- Indigenous Australians
- Refugee and migrant communities.
This module will take approximately 2 hours to complete. This may vary for each individual learner.
