Overview
Melbourne is a global hotspot for thunderstorm asthma, generally occurring in November. This elective module will review the background, aetiology and local health service preparedness of thunderstorm asthma. Patient assessment, clinical presentation, immediate management principles and health promotion will also be covered.
Completion of this module is entirely optional and will take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
